36 Days of Type

An illustrated alphabet.

36 Days of Type is an annual project inviting designers, illustrators and graphic artists to create unique interpretations of the letters and numbers of the Latin alphabet, everyday for 36 consecutive days.

On a daily basis, I created an illustrated letter focusing on women in careers or hobbies beginning with that letter. I focused on a range of fields, from gardening to birdwatching to zoology. Designers from countries around the world contributed to the project with a range of media, color palettes and themes.

The letters J-R. J is for Judge; K is for Key Cutter; L is for Librarian; M is for Mountaineer; N is for Nail Model; O is for Optometrist; P is for Pattern Designer; Q is for QA Engineer; R is for Robotics Researcher.
