3D Illustrations

During a period prelonged citywide lockdowns due to the pandemic, I started a personal project to create stylized 3D illustrations of what different people’s idealized spaces for contemplation and self-care might look like. This series is ongoing, updated as I imagine new environments of restfulness.

Two Dots Weekly Treasure Maps: Illustrations

Two Dots is a mobile puzzle game with a minimal art aesthetic and millions of players. Two Dots’ treasure hunts are a weekly in-game that feature a unique treasure map with each event. Players unlock a special medallion for beating all bonus levels. The map is presented in sepia and gradually revealed to its full-color form as players beat the event. Loop de Loop Animation Festival

Loop de Loop is a bimonthly, global animation challenge that invites animators to create work around a particular theme.

These are a series of animated loops/gifs I have created over the years. Even though I sometimes include a literal representation of the theme in the work, I challenge myself to interpret the theme in a slightly different way. At the end of the animation challenge, submitted works are curated and presented at screenings around the world. Previous screenings have taken place in Berlin, Tel Aviv, New York, Melbourne and Sydney.

School of Motion Animated Holiday Card

Animations can be created in any media but are assigned a color palette, time constraint and given a specific theme. These were my contributions for themes such as “Light” and “Holiday Traditions.”

36 Days of Type

36 Days of Type is an annual project inviting designers, illustrators and graphic artists to create unique interpretations of the letters and numbers of the Latin alphabet, everyday for 36 consecutive days.

On a daily basis, I created an illustrated letter focusing on women in careers or hobbies beginning with that letter. I focused on a range of fields, from gardening to birdwatching to zoology. Designers from countries around the world contributed to the project with a range of media, color palettes and themes.

Dots & Co. Momentos

Dots & Co. is an addictive mobile puzzle game about connecting dots, solving clever puzzles and mechanics, and exploring beautiful landscapes. Players have some help along the way, unlocking super-powered companions and fun powerups.

I created these shareable illustrations as unlockable rewards for players. Once players had completed sections of the game, they’d receive a various illustrated collectibles thematically linked to the world they had completed. These momentos could be shared online or revisited in the game’s digital gallery.

Oh Reader Cover Illustration

Oh Reader is a New York City based magazine celebrating the art of reading. It features essays, articles, personal stories and interviews by readers and for readers. I illustrated the cover for the magazine’s second issue. The brief specified a specific color palette and subject: a girl in late fall or early winter, getting ready for a cozy afternoon with her books.

They Draw and Travel Map Anthologies

“Out of This World” and “Where We Walk” are curated anthologies of illustrated
maps by artists from around the world. Each collection invited artists to create maps around a certain theme. “Out of this World” featured space-inspired maps, and “Where We Walk” invited homebound artists in the early months of the pandemic to create maps of their favorite walks: from their local park to a memorable vacation.
